Bed bugs feed approximately every 3 to 8 days. The blood meals will allow the adult males to mate aggressively. Bed bugs will feed at night and are not shy when it comes to daylight or bright lights. If humans are available and stationery for more than 3 or more hours they will feed and they like feeding on defenseless ambulatory or elderly people. Inside of two weeks the immature bed bugs will start feeding, after 6 or more meals they will become adults and lay eggs. Slowing the feeding is important and necessary when controlling bed bugs.

 

WHAT DO BED BUG BITES LOOK LIKE?
